The Vampire Clause

  1. That's pretty funny. I've always thought a neat proof of God would be if babies never cried while in a church. :-)

  2. In fact, its far more easy to me to believe in vampires and werewolves, than believe in god(s). Even tough all of them are bullshit, the bullshit in the first two makes more sense than the latter (and is more entertaining)

  3. That wouldn't be proof at all. The crucifix protects you from vampires because you believe it will. If you were Jewish the crucifix wouldn't do shit but a star of david would work.

Source, a half remembered X-men comic. Kitty Pride was left alone in the X-men mansion over Christmas break and had a run in with Dracula...or something.

    1. Kitty Pride is my favorite comic character right now.

  4. I'm reminded of that Richard Pryor quote; “the reason people use a crucifix against vampires is because vampires are allergic to bullshit.”

  5. So Grundy...are you declaring that you don't believe Jesus Christ ever lived?...or that you don't believe he ever said anything ever attributed to him?...or that he didn't get crucified therefore the cross is a hoax? Just wondering again...:D

    1. I don't believe in the supernatural. I don't believe Christ, but I believe in Jesus. Christ being the son of God, Jesus being the name we call the guy who kicked off Christianity.

    2. That clarifies Jesus Christ for me...and I suppose few really believe in the "supernatural"...who haven't experienced it.

  6. Yeah ... but what if you were up against a Christian vampire? THEN what would you use?
